Progress Your Counselling Journey with CPCAB Level 3
The CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CST-L3) is the next stage of the CPCAB counselling training pathway and is designed for learners who have already completed an appropriate Level 2 counselling skills qualification.
This nationally recognised qualification builds on your existing counselling skills while developing your understanding of counselling theory, ethical practice, self-awareness and the therapeutic relationship.
Level 3 provides important preparation for progression towards professional counsellor training at Level 4 but does not, on its own, qualify you to practise as a counsellor.
This course is ideal for those who want to:
* Ready to progress from a recognised Level 2 counselling skills qualification
* Working towards becoming a professional counsellor
* Looking to deepen your understanding of counselling theory and practice
* Interested in developing greater self-awareness and understanding of the therapeutic relationship
* Looking to develop counselling knowledge and skills that may complement an existing helping role
What Can CPCAB Level 3 Lead To?
The CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies provides progression towards Level 4 professional counsellor training.
During the course, you will continue developing your counselling skills, theoretical understanding, ethical awareness and ability to reflect on yourself and your relationships with others.
On successful completion, you may apply to progress to an appropriate Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, subject to the entry requirements of the training provider.
